David Spade , who gained his foothold in showbiz when he became a regular cast member and writer on Saturday Night Live from 1990 until 1996, also played the obnoxious and sarcastic but lovable wise guy Dennis Finch for six years on the hit NBC sitcom Just Shoot Me . He was nominated for an Emmy, a Golden Globe and an American Comedy Award for his work on the series.

Now on the CBS sitcom Rules of Engagement , produced by Adam Sandler 's Happy Madison Productions, Spade is still spewing out the caustic one-liners for which he's so well-known and admired. The show, which centers around how two married couples and their single friend deal with dating, commitment and marriage, may be close to the heart for Spade , who split with blond bombshell gal pal Heather Locklear about a year and a half ago and has gained a reputation as somewhat of a ladies' man.
